Communication technology change rapidly,' the power grid and the communication network of electric power system towards the intelligent leap.Smart grid construction has entered a peak period of global.In the Hannover industrial fair,the most attract people's attention project is a smart grid,industrial technology innovation award by the iNES smart grid management system into the german.According to the prediction of many authoritative organizations,a compound annual growth rate of the smart grid will be in the next few years,maintaining impressive data.The smart grid in the world,especially in information and communication technology investment will reach $140000000000.Can be expected,in the next few years,the global smart grid related industries are in a golden age of rapid development.With the continuous development of business intelligence,intelligent optical transport network,the Internet of things,gradually improve the wireless broadband network as a new technology,special high-voltage power grid backbone grid coordination at all levels of development in order to two-way interactive information,automation,as the main characteristics of the research and construction of sustainable development of strong smart grid,the development innovation with China characteristics,these will be the favorable conditions be richly endowed by nature of its electric power communication.Through the construction of electric power communication network,so that the field of information and communication technology and power energy blend smoother,integrated power system applications can be realized.With the demand of social development,the state of the development of smart grid construction is more and more important for electric power communication,as an important part of power system communication network,the high quality and reliable power supply to ensure safety and stability,therefore,put forward higher request to the electric power communication security and service level.The main work of this paper focuses on the study of the evolution of the power communication network**area,found the area of electric power communication network,through the PEST analysis of electric power communication network**regional opportunities and challenges analysis,find out the disadvantages of communication network structure,combined with the present situation of the structurecan adapt to the electric power communication network optimization and implementation of the proposed development of the smart grid,in order to improve the safety,flexibility,reliability of electric power communication network**area,in order to achieve for our country's construction with digital information,automation,interactive characteristics,the grand goal of Unified Smart grid.
