The valve type pulse jet is a burner with simple structure and high combustion efficiency,but because of its complex combustion mechanism and poor stability of work,so it still need to be researched.The research is based on the established experimental platform,which used relatively advanced technology of experiment and measurement to explore the engine's combustion process and measure the corresponding characteristic parameters.The result of this research can provide theoretical support and experimental reference for the research of valve type pulse jet,and the way to experiment have actual reference value for experimental research on a variety of small engines.(1)The fuel supply system and ignition system have been perfected on the base of the existing experimental platform,making the engine's fuel supply and ignition integrated in the same steps.And the appropriate measurement and acquisition system have been established which based on the structure of experimental platform,making the engine's appropriate measurement and acquisition system simple and effective.(2)A series of ignition experiments were carried out on the engine,to study the starting characteristics of the engine under the condition of self suction,and used infrared thermograph,flue gas analyzer,thermocouple,water cooled pressure sensor and sound pressure meter to measure the engine's characteristic parameters respectively about wall temperature,the concentration of the combustion products,the gas temperature,the gas pressure and working noise.When adjusting the fuel tank height of the engine,the fuel flow rate can be changed,and then the influence of the change of the fuel flux on the above parameters is studied.(3)A three dimensional model of the engine used in the experiment is established,and the corresponding calculation model is established by using CFX software after meshing,then simulated the pulse combustion process of the engine to verify the correctness of the model comparing analysis of the characteristics of the parameters.(4)The sound field model of engine is established by using LMS.Virtual.Lab sound pressure simulation software,then the noise of engine is simulated and the results are compared with the measurement results to verify the correctness of noise simulation.
