| The existing radar simulators have the problems of relatively old interface and imperfect function.The automatic evaluation system of radar has questions such as type of question is single,evaluation model is simple,and result is not scientific and so on.It is necessary to develop a new radar simulator and its automatic evaluation system to meet the needs of teaching,training and evaluation.In this paper,the key technologies involved in radar simulator and automatic evaluation system are studied,the main works are as follows:1.Proposes a modified algorithm that converts the geographical coordinates of the shoreline into plane coordinates by Vincenty’s formulae,effectively solves the image deformation problems by using the Mercator projection coordinates to generate radar image and makes the bearing and distance calculation more accurate;uses a modified RDP algorithm to reduce the shoreline data,improves the rendering efficiency of radar images.2.Uses the Rayleigh,Weibull,normal and uniform distribution model to simulate the radar clutter.Proposes a new method of the clutter image generating and displaying based on computer image cropping,and achieves a better clutter circumferential scanning.3.The radar plotting simulation system is put forward and realized for the first time.According to the appearances and operation characteristics of the plotting tools,the simulation of radar plotting is realized by using the technology of cropping,transformation,and the element technique of radar plotting operation.Fill the blank in the research of radar plotting simulation.4.By using a comprehensive evaluation method based on experts method and membership function to evaluate the operation and application of radar.According to experts’ experience segments types and operation process,extracts evaluation factors,sets reasonable weights and thresholds and membership functions,forms a complete evaluation model,determines the membership degrees of the evaluation factors,then uses the weighted method to obtain trainees’ evaluation results.On the basis,the radar simulation and evaluation system is developed with reference to the JRC-JMA-9100 series radar.This system is composed of the simulation subsystem,the questions subsystem and the evaluation subsystem.Simulation subsystem better realize the simulation of echo images and main functions of the JRC-JMA-9100 series radar,and realize the simulation of radar plotting,provides interfaces to record trainees’operation steps and result data.The questions subsystem is implemented according to the evaluation specification,has functions of setting questions and proofreading.Constructed examination question bank realizes a complete coverage of the outline of radar evaluation.The evaluation subsystem uses the comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate the operation steps and the results of the trainees,and the mathematical model is more scientific and reasonable,achieves the full-automatic evaluation of the radar operation and application.Overall,the JRC-JMA-9100 series radar simulation and evaluation system meets the IMO performance standards of the radar simulator used for training and evaluation,enriches the types and functions of radar simulator. |
