Research On Active Protection Of DC Power Distribution System

In this paper,the electrical technology is applied,and the protection and control is united to be the active comprehensive protection.Also the computer network and communication technology is used to accomplish the intelligent function.With these technologies,the parameters of DC distributed system can be seen and controlled,so that the DC distributed system can operate safely.Firstly,the research significance,purpose,and the research status are introduced.The problems that exist in the protection of DC distributed system are mainly introduced.Secondly,the main parts of DC distributed system are introduced.The configuration,function and control methods are introduced in detail.Also,the model of DC distributed system is built in PSCAD/EMTDC.And the normal operation is introduced.Thirdly,the fault characteristics are analyzed,when the different parts of DC distributed system is in fault condition.The reason of change is analyzed.Through simulation,the analysis is verified.Also,how to change the device that cannot work is introduced.Finally,the protection devices used in DC distributed system is introduced.And the protection principle that is based on overcurrent is proposed.All kinds of faults are considered when the protection principle is presented.So the protection is intact.And the system will operate more safely.
