In a low-resistance grounding system, when the multi-loop line occurs grounding fault inphase, It will cause large changes of the zero-sequence current distribution characteristics,which will cause zero-sequence protection refused to action. Base on this, a self-adaptionZero-Sequence Protection base on net is developed in the dissertation, it can self-adaptionadjust the protection setting when the fault characteristics changed. This can assure theoperating reliability of Zero-sequence and avoid incorrect action for the backup protection.Satisfying the development of microcomputer-based protection and supervision system,especially to meet the requirement brought by the higher voltage and more complexity ofpower grid, novel microcomputer platform for protection and supervision system is developedin the dissertation. Evaluating and adopting on-going techniques, novel platform forprotection and supervision system based on dual-core controller is introduced detailed. Duringthe course of building the novel protection and supervision platform, extensive attention ispaid on its inherent excellent characters of advanced performance, universal characteristic,reliability and stability. Traditional software structure performs itself by a loop added withinterrupt service routes.The proposal and application of smart grid makes information technology more andmore closely with power technologies. Tradition software architecture platform or simpleembedded operating system used in the protection and control systems cannot meet the needof the new Digital Substation with IEC61850protocol applying object-oriented techniques.Satisfying the development of microcomputer-based protection and control system, especiallyto meet the requirement brought by the higher voltage and more complexity of power grid,researches on application of embedded operating system in microcomputer-based protectionand control system is developed in the dissertation.
