In the development of the high speed rotating weapon system,such as the turbine type rocket,and bottom row extended range shells,an experimental study on the operating characteristics of the engine combustion chamber under high speed rotation is required,in order to provide experimental data for the theoretical design and analysis.However,in the experiment,high speed(0?18000rpm)and high pressure(1?40MPa)bring high requirements on the sealing requirements,sealing medium leakage for delivery of combustion chamber pressure has been one of the main error sources for the experimental system,which limits the Further improvement of test accuracy,and brings great difficulty to the optimization design of the test bed optimization.Now,optimization of sealing structure of the test platform has become the key to improve the comprehensive performance of the test platform.Based on the above problems,this paper makes a detailed theoretical analysis and research on the sealing methods of high pressure and high speed,a comprehensive performance test rig for the leakage characteristic of the rotating shaft has been designed.By using the test platform,the leakage characteristics of viscous fluid under high pressure and high speed rotating conditions were systematically studied,and have an analysis about how the diameter and length of the Sealing column,seal clearance,seal pressure,rotation speed and the viscosity of lubricating oil and other factors affect leakage in the gap.However,in order to have a further study for the leakage process of rotating shaft under high pressure,in this paper.ICEM is used to partition the small scale space of the experimental objects,general computational fluid dynamics software FLUENT has been introduced to analysis flow field in different conditions.In these solutions,considering the effect of turbulence viscosity,based on the SIMPLEC algorithm,the RNG k-? turbulence model is used to calculate the velocity field and pressure field and have an analysis of sealing media leakage characteristics.The study results show that all factors above affect the leakage of rotating shaft under high pressure condition.In the case of no more than a specified amount of leakage,the gap seal is an effective way of sealing.The research results of this paper provide a reliable test means and methods for the design and improvement of the sealing method of the high speed rotary solid rocket motor comprehensive performance test rig.
