In order to improve the spectral distribution of infrared radiation created by the MTV decoys,which is quite different from the target's spectral distribution,researched the infrared radiation materials which could generate the suitable spectral distribution.Based on the analysis of relevant infrared spectrum theories,we designed the way to make the infrared radiation materials.Using SC7000 far infrared thermal imager,OPAG33 remote sensing Fourier transform infrared spectrometer,we researched the influents of burning temperature,infrared ceramics materials and the infrared combustion products on the infrared spectrum of the MTV decoys.Because of the high combustion temperature of typical MTV decoy material,the peak of radiation intensity in 1-3?m is very high,we studied the effects of the proportion of Mg and PTFE on the spectral distribution of the MTV decoys.The results show that the decrease of Mg can effectively reduce the burning temperature,which leads to the decline of the peak radiation brightness in 1-3?m,3-5?m and 8-14?m,but the spectral distribution of infrared radiation of the MTV decoys haven't been improved obviously.Aimed to improve the radiance of MTV-based decoys in 3-5?m and 8-14?m,we adopted the solid state sintering method to prepare a kind of ferrite infrared ceramic material which has the spinel structure.We studied the effects of the infrared ceramic material as additives on the spectrum of the MTV-based decoys.The results show that when the proportion of the infrared ceramic material is 25%.the radiation brightness increases by 4.05×104W·m-2·sr-1 in 3-5?m,the radiation brightness increases by 0.46×104W·m-2·sr-1 in 8-14?m,and the radiation area also reaches the maximum value(211.49cm2),compared with the typical MTV decoys increases by 74.84 cm2.The decoy's spectral distribution is not only related to the temperature,but also closely connected with the radiation characteristics of the combustion products,so we chosen the elemental B and organic A which could produce radiation in 3-5?m and 8-14?m after combustion as the additives,and studied the influence of the combustion products on the spectral distribution.The results show that after adding 25%of Organic A,the radiation brightness increases by 3.65×104W·m-2·sr-1 in 3-5pm,after adding 10%of the elemental B,the radiation brightness increases by15.87×104W·m-2·sr-1 in3-5?m,and at the same time,the radiation brightness increases by 1.89×104W·m-2·sr-1 in of 8-14?m,compared with the typical MTV decoy material increases by 81.11%.
