With the development of the railway,the connection between the electrified railway and the power system becomes more and more inseparable.Along the railway line,there are different types of non-traction loads,such as communication system and signal system,and whose power supply scheme is directly related to driving safety,operating cost and construction investment.Due to the lack of thorough research and enough attention to the problem of electricity power load,there is a situation of power shortage with the power loads or the problem which cannot be solved economically and reasonably.The rapid development of electrified railway provides a technology platform for the traction power supply system which is rational used as the source of power loads along the line.Facing the trend of technological globalization,the high speed railway of China should actively draw lessons from foreign advanced technology to expand the advantages and play a more important role in the strategy,including "Going Global Strategy" and "the Belt and Road Strategy".In order to optimize and perfect the railway power supply system,kinds of new power supply schemes for railway are proposed by learning the successful experience of the foreign electrified railway.Therefore,it requires a systematic study and has a profound practical significance for the railway or the power system.The present situation of power system in railway have been investigated in this thesis.Kinds of new power supply schemes taken power by traction power supply system for loads along the line are summed up,including distributed electric power supply from the catenary,distributed power supply scheme from traction substation,power supply scheme based on centralized AC-DC-AC power supply equipment,and power supply scheme of distribution substation built with traction substation.The working principle and characteristics of these power supply schemes are analyzed,and the problems which need to be further studied are determined.By using the MATLAB/Simulink,the models of traction power supply system,multiple unit,AC-DC-AC power supply equipment,continuous transmission lines and power loads are derived to constitute schemes' models based on a certain section of high speed railway.Power supply quality is analyzed based on the schemes' simulation results.The characteristics and application of each schemes are concluded by comparing the power supply quality,the influence on traction power supply system,the reliability of the power,the maintenance operation and the investment cost.
