With the increase of high-speed railway passenger volume, the continuous increase of train speed and the gradual reduce of tracking interval, the requirements of the traction power supply capability are higher and higher. Railway administration need check the existing power supply capability whether meets the requirements before the adjustment of train operation diagram. At present, railway administration mainly adopts the method of organizing field test to assess traction power supply capability, which need organize large-scale and special test and spend a lot of manpower and material resources. Therefore, this article analysizes and studies the traction power supply capability of high-speed railway from the theory and simulation. On this basis, a simulation and analysis platform for traction power supply capability of high-speed railway is developed to use easily for railway workers.Firstly, based on multiple conductor transmission lines model, the mathematical model for traction network is built, which is appropriate for different power supply mode. The mathematical model of each equipment for all parallel AT power supply system is built. Secondly, the research on the SLPFM of traction power system is launched. The power flow calculation results of the equivalent impedance and current source model for train are campared and analysized, which is to verify the result consistency between the two. Considering the condition that power flow caculation currently adopts power rating of the train, this paper analysizes actual power of high-speed railway and obtains formula of actual power of the train. Actual power model of the train is applied to power flow calculation of traction power supply system and the power flow calculation results of the actual power model and rated power model for train are campared and analysized, which verify the differences of calculation results between the two and prove the power flow calculation results of actual power model are more practicable.Then, on the basis of the power flow calculation for the actual power model, thispaper calculates and analyzes some electrical quantities of evaluating traction power supply capability and evaluates the traction power supply capability according to national standard of the electrical quantity. Based on above research, in this way,taking Wuqing traction substation of Beijing-Tianjin inter-city railway as the example,this paper analysizes traction power supply capability under the condition of the normal power supply and over-zone power supply and identifies the max load capacity of Wuqing traction substation for the train in the different conditions, which provide references to choose suitable scheme of arranging trains for traffic dispatcher.And simulation models of all parallel AT power supply system are built. Through simulation analysis and field test data, the power flow calculation of the actual power model for evaluating traction power supply capability is proved to be correct.Lastly, according to the power flow calculation of the actual power model, a simulation and analysis platform for traction power supply capability of high-speed railway is developed, which achieves simulation and analysis in different speeds and types of the train and convenience, rapid and low-cost of the traction power supply capability analysis.
