In order to improve the professional quality and practical operation level of the substation operators and maintenance personnel, the State Grid Corporation enlarges the strength of research and development of the Intelligent substation secondary system simulation training. Based on computer software, the simulation training system is to realize the function simulation of Intelligent substation and presents the analytic result by using graphical technology, through which analytical research and operation training can be offered. However, at present, the research on the simulation training of the secondary system of intelligent substation is still in its infant stage and has many limitations in various aspects.Therefore, this thesis has carried out the research on the communication method of the simulation training for the secondary system of intelligent substation based on FPGA. The result of the thesis is to develop a simulation device. If the SCD file and SSD file of the intelligent substation are imported, the training content can be set by the device to realize the simulation of the power network fault phenomenon, the simulation of the secondary equipment behavior of the intelligent substation and the network data,display message information and graphical function associated information and provide simulation training tools for the second team.The work of this thesis is organized according to the method research and function design, and the main contributions are the method of the secondary system simulation and the function design of the hardware platform architecture based on FPGA. This article is mainly carried out from the following three aspects.First of all, the protection function between the relevant secondary equipment when the specific fault event occurs is described by constructing a complete set of communication correlation model. Then, in the simulation training of the intelligent substation, this paper combines with the analysis of intelligent substation SCD and SSD and other configuration files to obtain the configuration of each intelligent device information and functional relationship information.The communication association model is instantiated, and the function number, process number and related event information group of each simulation training event can be obtained after instantiation.Thus, the whole secondary system protection action behavior is described when the event occurs.On the basis of this method, this thesis has designed a set of intelligent substation secondary system simulation device serving for the secondary team as the hardware support. The device adopts multi-chip FPGA structure to realize the behavior simulation of the secondary system and the simulation of the network data phenomena based on the fast simulation technology of FPGA. This thesis includes the organization and transmission, reception and analysis of protection action event information(the result information, the coordination information, the alarm information, the intermediate process information and so on)message conforming to IEC61850 communication protocol specification, and the design of communication interface method in the whole hardware device.At last, The functional verification and performance test of each function module in the hardware system design are carried out.
