Lighting is a tool for human to conquer the darkness.LED(Light Emitting Diode)has long-life,high light efficiency,energy saving,richness color,safe and reliable characteristics as the fourth generation of lighting source.At present,most of the lighting project such as conventional lighting,road lighting,landscape lamp,automotive lighting and military lighting most widespread adopted high-power LED lighting,thus the lighting technology has immeasurable application prospect.The LED is different from other light source.It belongs to a solid state device,just like ordinary diode,has the same features,such as forward voltage conduction,opposite to globe and breakdown.This paper reseach the development of LED,analysis the present situation of the LED driving technology,and points out the advantages and disadvantages of a variety of driving control scheme,and design a kind of driving circuit structure,whice based on BUCK-BOOST improved and more suitable for the high power LED lighting driver circuit of underwater lighting.The circuit used for the power of the underwater special environment lighting.It can be very good artificial light for normal and high-speed camera in the underwater environment..The design of the security,reliability,space volume,electromagnetic compatibility etc.of the circuit is optimized.The paper also introduces a comprehensive dimming circuit,including remote RS-485 control,analog signals control and comprehensive dimming potentiometer control mode,using PWM dimming and software filtering technology.In the circuit,the performance of the BUCK-BOOST topology structure is improved.Using a four-way synchronous switch method,combined with synchronous BUCK and synchronous booster structure,effectively improve the efficiency of the circuit.The feasibility of the circuit is verified by simulating.The circuit is suitable for relatively wide range of input,and has better precision of current control.Through the theoretical design and prototype test,it’s efficiency is as high as 96.7%.It is performed well in terms of EMC(electromagnetic compatibility),reliability,and has good result in the practical underwater camera shooting.
