Analysis Of Lightning Overvoltage In 220kV GIS Substation

The booming economy has promoted the steady growth of the demand for power supply.In recent years,the demand of production and living power in our country has been increasing year by year.As the core component of power system,the safe and reliable operation of substation directly affects the stability of the whole power system.However,the actual substation is easy to be shut down because of the fault,and the lightning disaster is the main cause of substation accident.Once the lightning fault occurs,it may easily lead to large scale loss of power supply,in addition,most of the substation equipment insulation does not have the ability of self-recovery,once the equipment failure occurs,and it will be difficult to restore power.Analysis of the substation lightning situation is helpful for the substation lightning protection measures.In this context,this paper uses ATP simulation software as research tools,research Shandong sunshine Zhao Xian 220 kV GIS substation over-voltage characteristics after the lightning strike,and calculate several measures to reduce the overvoltage effect,which provide data support for the substation lightning protection.The contents of this thesis are summarized as follows:This paper mainly includes three parts.The first part is to build the model and establish the substation lightning model which contains transmission line,lightning wave,station equipment,tower grounding resistance,flashover model of intrusion model,while the flashover of insulators are analyzed by the software TACTS module to complete the simulation of the physical process;The second part analyses and calculate the influence of different lightning stroke,impulse grounding resistance,operation mode and protection distance on the overvoltage;The third part is the analysis of measures to reduce the voltage of 220 kV.First describes the 220 kV GIS substation lightning arrester configuration features,and then analyzes over voltage level under several different configurations of arrester.Combined with the characteristics of substation wiring,finally,the method of lightning arrester configuration to reduce the lightning overvoltage is proposed.
