In order to meet the needs of modern air defense,increase the damage power of traditional warhead against air target,add energetic fragments,as prefabricated fragments,to warhead,bring up a new type energetic fragment warhead which regard energetic fragment as main damage elements.In this paper,the impact and explosive behavior of single energetic fragment and the damage capability of energetic fragment warhead to specific targets were studied by using theoretical analysis and numerical simulation.The vulnerability of "Tomahawk" cruise missile is studied.The target geometrical characteristics,the functional characteristics and the logical structure of each system are analyzed in detail.Based on this,the target damage grade and the damage tree are established,and the equivalent target thickness is obtained.The threshold velocity of deflagration and detonation of energetic fragments is obtained by numerical simulation using the finite element analysis software LS-DYNA.Analyzed the influence of the geometrical parameters of energetic fragment shell on shock-induced detonation threshold velocity,and its changing trend.The study of impact and explosive behavior of energetic fragments is carried out.The damage effect,failure modes of target and morphology of fragments were compared with energetic fragments and inert fragments impact same target.The influence of angles on impact and explosive behavior of energetic fragments was studied,work out the velocity rule of fragment and the effect of penetrate target in different impact angles.Analysis of the effect of explosive behavior of energetic fragments on threshold penetrate velocityEstablish fragments launch model,warhead mathematical model,target mathematical model and dynamic intersection model.Use random trajectory to relate the damage probability of single fragment,the warhead and target intersection model and the target vulnerability model.Using MATLAB software to write warhead hitting probability program which adopt random sampling method to simulate the warhead and target intersection process,calculates the hit probability of the warhead to target,and analyzes the influence of starting distance of fuze,miss distance and intersection angle on hitting probability of warhead.
