The heat dissipation capacity theoretical model for single-pipe system radiator is established on the basis of radiator sample;the product is tested and analyzed;the multiple-pipe theoretical model is amended;the metal thermal intensities of radiators with different pipe diameters and multiple center distance are optimized.Here are the following research progresses:1.Radiators with different pipe diameters DN(DN15~DN32)and different center distances L(L=300~L=1000)are selected as to theoretically calculate and analyze the heat dissipating capacity of the radiator.First and foremost,the theoretical heat convection analysis is carried out for single horizontal pipe of steel pipe radiator applied in bathroom.Secondly the heat convection and radiation heat transfer analysis is carried out for multiple horizontal pipes of radiators.The conclusions are drawn as follow:(1) Firstly the heat dissipating capacity of single specification radiator applied in bathroom increases and later decreases with the increase of pipe's external diameter.Hence,a peak value is indicated,closely reaching to the point of DN25.Secondly as for the heat dissipating capacities of radiators applied in bathroom with different specifications are different,the peak values of center distance L are accordingly different.As L is increased,the abscissa of corresponding peak value shall be shifted to the right(indicating the increase of pipe diameter).Additionally in accordance with the calculation,as the center distance L is increased,the heat dissipating capacity is increasing,and yet the eventual heat dissipating capacity of single pipe shall be successively decreased,which indicates the uneven thermal force phenomenon.The result is not complied with the previously mentioned normal wall temperature.For this reason,in the practical design the heat dissipating capacity shall be amended quantitatively.(2)Firstly the metal thermal intensity of single specification radiator applied in bathroom shall progressively decrease with the increase of steel pipe's external diameter(DN15~DN32).Secondly the maximum(all at DN15)of metal thermal intensities of single specification radiator applied in bathroom with different specifications shall successively decrease with the increase of center diameter L,and their minimum(all at DN32)shall successively increase with the increase of center diameter L.Hence,as the research finds that DN15 radiator has the maximum metal thermal intensity while the center diameter L equals 300.Therewith,abiding by the China's current design specifications,the metal thermal intensity is not qualified as q?0.8(W/kg·?).Accordingly the DN25 and DN32 are not considered as the radiators in the practical production.2.The radiator is tested as it is sampled with the 500 center distance L,DN15 pipe diameter and 926 mm high.In accordance with various specifications regulated in the literature JGJ32-86,Test Thermal Performance of Heating Radiator by Confined Space,the thermal performance of radiator is tested.Working conditions including different flows and different temperatures of water inlet are considered.As the test result indicates,the flow is increased by 12.48%,and the heat dissipating capacity is increased by 2.91%.The conclusion is drawn as that,the heat dissipating capacity varies little with the variation of flow.The value derived theoretically is amended in accordance with the test result and theoretical derivation.The relative error is controlled as 7.5% through the contrastive analysis of experimental data and heat dissipating capacity calculated theoretically.3.In line with the current water quality of China,the radiator is investigated and researched.The economic performance of radiator is analyzed given the current market price of low-carbon steel material and the price of radiator product materialized as low-carbon steel.
