Along with the rapid improvement of socio-economic level and the speedy development of urbanization,the amount of motor vehicles has been continuously increasing during these years.A more convenient traffic as well as the difficult of parking and searching has been bought by this kind of social phenomenon.In the crowded districts or parking lots under strain,the driver would always have trouble finding an appropriate parking space,which may waste a lot of time and energy.As the technology of embedded,wireless sensor network(WSN),internet communication and Internet of Things(Io T)advances,we have found a new solution to effectively and exactly provide parking information for drivers and traffic administrative departments.The technology of the Internet of Things has been applied in intelligent transportation field by this issue.This intelligent solution provides both the condition monitoring of parking lots and the distribution of parking information for users.The information issuing system is based on Google's Android operating system,which has been developed and realized as an application(named Hello Lot).The Hello Lot could offer numerous of information services to APP users,such as the number and specific location of parking space in a large-scale parking lot or crowded block.Drivers could find a more reasonable way to park and a more rapid method to find their parking car in the parking lot based on this system.This system is composed of parking lots information acquisition subsystem,data processing and server subsystem and interaction client subsystem.The information of all the parking area would be included in by wireless communication system.In conclusion,this issue provides an intelligent parking guidance system of monitoring,collecting and delivering parking lots information based on Smartphone.And the results of this study should be regarded as a fine choice to intelligent transportation field as technical support.The core of information acquisition terminal subsystem of intelligent parking guidance system is detection technology of the state of parking lots.Through scientific research and experimental verification,the system adopts the wireless geomagnetic sensors to accomplish detecting,which would significantly improve the system's accuracy.The user interaction carrier is Android operation system,which could offer a resourceful,open and low-cost development environment.Meanwhile the communication medium is the Wireless Local Area Networks(WLAN),which could offer a safe,confidential and effective communication environment.All in all,this issue provides a new promising approach for researching on parking guidance,even for the developing in the field of Intelligent Transportation System.
