In the master's thesis,the paper mainly introduces the theory and experimental research on the auto-tensioning tensioner of a kind of car engine produced by a domestic automobile factory.It provides the design theory and technical guidance for the mass production of the tensioner.In this paper,the research on the related characteristics of the automatic tension pulley is mainly described in the following aspects:In the first chapter,the technical background of the tension wheel used in the front attachment system of automobile engine is reviewed in the introduction.The research,application and development trend of the tension pulley in domestic and abroad are discussed.The main contents of this paper are introduced.In the second chapter,the main performance requirements and solutions of auto tensioner are discussed.The working principle,main structural components and functions of automatic tensioner are introduced in detail.In the third chapter,the mechanical analysis of the auto-tensioning tensioner is carried out.In the design and development of the engine,the design of the front end attachment transmission system will directly affect the performance and reliability of the engine accessories,thus affecting the entire engine,and even the entire vehicle technical indicators,so its design and development are attracting more and more people's attention.And torsion spring assembly is the core of automatic tensioner components,the use of the torsion spring to provide the performance of the torque required to meet the front-end accessory drive system of the initial tension,but also continue to compensate for the use of belt length decreases tension,so as to achieve the engine automatic tensioner unique features in the engine front attachment belt throughout the use of the cycle,the belt tension does not need to be manually adjusted,so that greatly facilitates the car.So this chapter mainly describes the design of the torsion spring,and the traditional empirical formula and professional spring design software to calculate the results were compared.The paper analyzes the source and influencing factors of the damping in the automatic tension pulley,arranges the tension pulley to the front wheel of the engine,and simulates the tension wheel with CAE software.The dynamic simulation verification adds the engine system energy,torsional vibration,belt stiffness and other parameters to determine the effectiveness of the characteristics of tension outside the wheel parameters.In chapter 4,the critical components of the tension pulley are arranged to test according to the actual vehicle usage.The bearing is the key part in the motion system.The life evaluation is described in detail in this chapter.On the basis of the basic theoretical research,introduce the actual verification and use experience for reference.Through the CAE analysis and the performance test,to achieve and automotive plant at the same time the development of new products and a successful purpose.At the end of this paper,the main work of the project is summarized,and the future work is forecasted.
