The belt conveyor is the most important bulk material conveying equipment. It has been widely used in the coal mine, power, port, chemical industry, and other industries. In recent years, it's much more needed about the belt conveyor with large capacity and long distance. And the traditional belt conveyor can't meet the industrial demands. So the multi points drive belt conveyor came into being. In this paper, we study the multi points driving belt conveyor, to increase the transmission power of the effective methods from the following three aspects of the interpretation of the multi-point driven design method.The belt is the most important component, which is generally exposure in the poor environment while working. So the conveyor belt must have a material with high quality. Many experts and scholars have researched and had a result. In this paper, we use the material as conveyor belt which has a little elastic and viscoelastic deformation but high strength.Driving device setting, selection, layout is the main work. In a long distance or under heavy load conditions, the distribution of belt conveyor driving device is very important. Proper arrangement of the driving device can effectively improve the belt conveyor working efficiency and reduce energy consumption.Control system is more driven belt conveyor "brain", and the focus of the collaboration of each part. In this paper, the belt conveyor control system is studied. According to multi points driving belt conveyor drive characteristics, I use programmable logic control (PLC) to monitor the conveyor working condition real-time, collection of information, reporting, also and LAN interconnection, realize remote automatic control.The accumulation degree of some coal, determine the pile angle, because different areas and working environment will affect the belt conveyor angle value, which will affect the work efficiency and the loss of the whole. The circumference of the driving force, the calculation of the maximum tension, minimum tension and effective braking force equipment, according to the different working environment and the mechanical condition, value calculation, selection of conveyor belt and the appropriate motor and other components. The system to provide the reference for the multi points driving machine design process and method of belt conveyer, and puts forward some suggestions of further research of multi point control system.
