The Design And Achievement Of Smart Home Based On WIFI-ZIGBEE Network

Smart home is a new times product. It takes the house as platform, and connects with all kinds of application equipment to link with the daily activities of human. Smart home system manages and controls the equipment such as home appliances, security and so on. It uses bus technology, radio frequency technology, and network communications to provide a convenient and comfortable home-life environment. Smart home system improves the quality of life at home.The smart home system is based on WIFI and ZigBee network. It uses the WIFI router which is a household network equipment at home to build a small server. So that the home equipment can surf the Internet by WIFI router. The users can use the browser or Android client to access the home network, view and control the status of devices at home. The smart devices such as smart lampholder, intelligent outlet, low-power temperature and humidity sensor are convinient for users. The smart lampholder is made up of lampholder and Single Chip Microcomputer. It can greatly save the cost of the user to buy smart devices. Using the intelligent lamp, the users can convert the ordinary lamps into intelligent light bulbs. In order to improve the convenience of smart lampholder, we also designed the adapter-type smart lampholder. The users use the adapter-type smart lampholder to convert the ordinary lampholder into smart lampholder directly instead of replacing the lampholder. The Android client in the design uses the speech recognition, gesture recognition and other control methods.So it can further improve the convenience for users.Through functional testing experiments and Packet Sniffer, wireshark capture software analysis, the design of smart home can basically achieve the functions above.
