Power system is a large system under unified operation,composed of power plants,substations,transmission and distribution network and users.The main goal of the automation of electric power system is to ensure the quality of power supply(frequency and voltage),ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the system,to improve the economic benefit and management efficiency.Increasing the size and social to the power supply of "safe,reliable,affordable,high quality,low-carbon" and many other quality indicators under the background of ever-higher demands,to ensure the implementation of power system operation control of the target,face a variety of complex optimization problems.Its complexity is mainly reflected in the objectives and constraints of complex,more extreme,high-dimensional,multi-objective,and there exist many uncertain factors,how to build a suitable optimization models and creating practical and efficient algorithm is the key to solving the problem.This research aimed at:from group intelligent of nature features starting,.analysis particle swarm algorithm mode of constructed and the key elements.I will improve algorithm and power system specific problem phase combination and solution,more effective and practical programs.This article uses a combination of theoretical study and empirical analysis method,the main research content and outcomes include:(1)Research shows that the improvement of PSO,should pay attention to the method of absorption from the swarm intelligence theory and bionics technology,to achieve a reasonable balance between global search and local search in the concrete implementation process of algorithm is the key to algorithm design.(2)The parameters of PSO algorithm are discussed,analyzed the influence of various parameters on the performance of the PSO algorithm.And puts forward the improved the random inertia weight value,can effectively adjust the global search and local search ability.(3)Based on the analysis of the defects of KBPSO,pointed the improved scheme that can improve the performance of the algorithm,and the dissipation operation and mutation operation scheme parameters are analyzed in detail.(4)Analysis of KBPSO based on power dispatch problem.The basic principle,mathematical description,algorithm flow,parameter setting.And using the improved algorithm of KBPSO simulation based on power dispatch problem,verified the feasibility of the algorithm.(5)In the understanding of the PSO algorithm in the application of planning,and control the operation of the power system,economic dispatch problem of the improved algorithm is applied to the power dispatch,the establishment of a more effective algorithm.Improved algorithm for solving the practical simulation,test the validity of the improved algorithm.
