Magnetorheological fluid damper which has the advantages of stable property,easily controlled,fast response and large output is a kind of new damping device which has a wide range prospect in vibration control of architectural structure.PID control is a common control algorithm,however,PID control is hard to adjust itself which will decrease the efforts of vibration control.It has important significance for vibration control to research PID control algorithm which is suitable for MR damping structure.In this paper,design process about magnetorheological fluid dampers,the selection and optimization of control algorithm for MR damping structure and dampers layout optimization are researched.The main research contents include the following aspects:(1)The shear valve type magnetorheological fluid dampers whose maximum output is 20kN are introduced from its materials,size and magnetic circuit.The relationship between the damping force and the load frequency,amplitude,current are learned and mechanical performance parameters are measured through the mechanics performance test of the damper.(2)Proposed neural network optimizing PID control and fuzzy logic control optimizing PID.They can make PID controller adjust its control parameters in real-time through eismic acceleration and the state of the structure.(3)Comparing neural network optimizing PID control with fuzzy logic control optimizing PID control and traditional PID control.A nine-story frame reinforced concrete structure is analyzed by numerical simulation using the three control strategies.The results show that:compared with PID control,the control effects of NNPID and FPID in the structural displacement get obvious promotion.Compared with FPID and PID,NNPID has advantages in the structure acceleration control.(4)For promoting the economical efficiency of MR damping structures,a new dampers layout optimization method using performance indicators based on modal superposition.is improved.Compared with performance index increment method through numerical simulation,the optimizing effect of performance indicators based on modal superposition is better than performance index increment method.
