With the slogans of develop ocean in various marine countries,Our country is also paying close attention to and supporting the future development of the ocean development.Underwater vehicles or underwater robot are very powerful and very important in the effective marine development strategy.In this paper,the third generation of the new disc-shaped underwater glider of my tutor's professional team is the research object,which has a dish-shaped rotating body with very good streamlined shroud shell,this low-resistance shape guarantee the glider has a flexible movement and reduced energy consumption.This paper introduces the launching experiment of the third generation disc-shaped underwater glider prototype,and simulates and analyzes the steady motion of the disc-shaped underwater glider and the sediment situation of the bottom-covered in CFD software.Based on the PMM unsteady oscillatory motion,quasi hydrodynamic scatter data and obtained the six DOF hydrodynamic coefficient.The first part is the numerical simulation.Firstly,introduced the calculation principle of numerical simulation software,and the steady motion of disk-shaped underwater glider is analyzed by FLUENT based on the numerical simulation of the hydrodynamic calculation and the steady motion equation of vertical plane,The relationship between the basic control parameters and the motion attitude parameters of the steady gliding motion of the disc-shaped underwater glider is obtained by the drawing function of MATLAB.Then two typical gliding conditions of the maximum voyage and the maximum horizontal velocity are analyzed and the corresponding motion parameters are obtained.The second part is the reliability of numerical simulation is verified by the empirical formula of submarine resistance prediction.The hydrodynamic data such as the ratio of lift to drag are calculated by the software of numerical simulation software to different type gliders.The conclusion is that the third-generation disc-shaped underwater glider has more advantages of large lift-drag ratio means has a high gliding efficiency.The third part of the numerical simulation of the unsteady part based on Mixture flow model and the discrete term model to study the disc-shaped underwater glider sit state of the burial as the mixture flow to the body,including the different flow sediment volume fraction,Different sediment particle size,different posture sitting and the different models of the appearance of the sediment cover.Which provides theoretical support for the design and improvement of the underwater glider sit station.
