The setting of the water intake and outfall should control the velocity of water flow after the work as low as possible and uniform,so it can minimize the impact of ships and supporting facilities nearby.However,because of the restriction by geographical space,some power stations and waste water treatment plants have to set the water intake and outfall inside the harbor,near the berth or the channel.So ship operations such as the navigation in channel and the berthing operation in the harbor area will be affected when the water intake and outfall works.In order to effectively evaluate and avoid the influence of navigation,we should clear the specific condition of the flow field near the water intake and outfall.Then analysis can be pushed.Therefore,the research should be done through mathematical modeling,software simulation,simulator evaluation and some other scientific methods.This study is based on the learning for the setting of the intake and outfall,the navigation environment nearby and the situation of the power plant.Then,do research combining with suitable hydrodynamic model and knowing well the main equation of MIKE,which is the newest hydrodynamic model.The research is to use software to build simulation platform,and simulate the operation.Furthermore,compare the simulation results with the measured data to demonstrate their accuracy.At last,do simulation test based on the data obtained by simulation,come to the influence of flow field near the water intake and outfall to navigation of the berths nearby and put forward relevant suggestions.This paper obtains the result that whether the velocity and the direction of flow fit with measured values through the comparative analysis of actual measured data,and it can be used in engineering calculation.Choosing some special points in the entry and exit channel of major parts to analyze further and the results of flow field's characteristics are as follows.Tidal current is a typical coastal reciprocating flow,and the flow is smooth before the implementation of operation.Water flow becomes more complex after the operation.This paper designs the experiment that ship berths and leaves the marine engineering wharf of the power station combining with the simulation result,a variety of typical ships and the external environmental conditions.Then draws the result of the effect of flow field to the navigation,and proposes some suggestions for ship maneuvering,timing choice,tug equipment and berthing mode etc.The aim of this study is to analyze the influence of the flow field near the water intake and outfall on navigation of the berths nearby.On the base of obtaining related parameters about the operation,accurately simulate the situation of flow field near the water intake and outfall and demonstrate the effect of flow field to the navigation through the software simulation and simulator evaluation methods.So that this research method has reference to the feasibility of water intake and drainage projects in power stations and practical significance for navigation safety near the intake and drainage ports.
