In recent years,the proportion of traffic energy account for social total energy increases rapidly year by year,with the continuous development of the total number of cars and the continuous development of urbanization process,among those bearing the increasingly heavy traffic pressure of urban expressway,which traffic flow has become the important source of fuel consumption and pollution emission.Aiming at this problem,this dissertation based on the national natural science foundation of China named “low carbon oriented optimization and management of urban transport system”,formulating the test scheme of collecting the road fuel consumption and speed data on the basis of expressway sections as the research object in Hefei.Based on a large number of experimental data that are spot speed,test vehicle speed and fuel consumption collected on the expressway,firstly,the general statistical methods were used to study the distribution characteristics and influence factors of spot speed and region speed,analyzing vehicle speed distribution characteristics contrasting the relationship between spot speed and region speed through distribution types,central tendency and dispersion degree of vehicle speeds,respectively,Results show that the lane position where the vehicle running on and state of traffic flow have a varying degrees of impact on the speed distribution characteristics,spot speed and region speed distribution characteristics tends to be the same in some condition.Secondly,based on the theory that spot speed and region speed distribution characteristics tends to be the same,structuring driving cycle by randomization,using CARSIM software to calculate fuel consumption of new driving cycle,and then differentiating traffic condition of road segment by k-means clustering algorithm and two driving features,using linear-regression analysis to structure the fuel consumption forecast model based on traffic flow condition of road segment and validating it at last,results show that the model can forecast vehicle fuel consumption well under different traffic flow conditions in expressway road.Not only did the results enrich research content of the theory of speed and fuel economy,also provide a theoretical basis and data support for planning,managing,designing,controlling and evaluating of a urban expressways.
