A driving cycle is expressed as the speed-time curve,which is applied to show vehicle driving characters with certain limited conditions.The research of the driving cycle has made a great contribution to the automobile industry.In this paper,Beijing passenger vehicles are the research object.Through the research and comparison of different typical methods for constructing driving cycle,the micro-trip and markov methods were used to construct the Beijing driving cycle.The research contents of this paper are shown as following:First of all,in view of the road characteristics of Beijing city,an overall planning of the data acquisition experiment was made to ensure that the research is carried out in an orderly manner,including the selection of experiment method and data acquisition equipment.After the acquisition of the data,the original data were divided into pieces by using the theory of kinematic fragments.After data processing,the micro-trip method was taken to build the driving cycle.In particular,in the process of candidate cycle selection,an improved method based on the minimum characteristic parameters deviation was adopted to choose the final segments to construct the driving cycle.The results indicated that the new method can further improves the reliability of the driving cycle.Simultaneously,a driving cycle on the basis of the theory of Markov process was developed.A method based on the minimum characteristic parameters deviation was proposed to select the starting segment and a method based on the least square was adopted for the last segment.The result showed that the new method can highly improve the accuracy of the driving cycle.Finally,the two driving cycles developed above were compared and analyzed,and the driving cycle which can represent the driving characteristic of Beijing passenger vehicles was selected to contrast with the standard driving cycles of Europe and America.The actual driving characteristic of them were analyzed and the giant difference between them showed the necessity of developing our own driving cycle.
