Study On The Landscape Planning Of Old City Waterfront Space Based On The Ecological Concept

Urban waterfront space with natural,open and recreational features,has become the important component of urban development.Its inner comprehensive value such as ecological value,social value,cultural value and economic value has gradually attracted more attentions.But because of the excessive development and construction during the past years,the old city waterfront space has a series of serious problems such as environmental pollution,ecological function weakening,landscape destruction,traffic disturbance,lack of leisure activity etc.,which is no longer adapted to the development of resource-saving and environment-friendly society.Therefore,principles and design methods of the waterfront space ecological functional recovery,rich landscape level,perfect public leisure demand,city image promotion must be explored as the important direction of further study in the modern social development.Firstly,the old city waterfront space is taken as the main object of study,then through consulting domestic and foreign relevant theories and cases,the research contents and research methods are clear.Secondly,starting from the perspective of the theory,the theoretical foundation of the research topic is established by relevant theories in landscape ecology combined with the theory of urban ecology,city cultural ecology,environmental psychology and design art.Then according to the characteristics and main problems of the old city waterfront space,the corresponding planning objectives,principles and planning strategies are put forward.Specific planning strategies from the aspects of the overall urban planning strategy,waterfront space,site design research are respectively analyzed for constructing a clear strategy framework.Finally,the landscape planning and design of the old city waterfront space of Ziyang,Sichuan province is taken as the actual case,by studying its background information,researching its present situation and mainly applying landscape ecology theories and strategies,the old city landscape planning and design is researched.The specific planning structure includes overall conception of old city waterfront space landscape planning in Ziyang planning from the overall urban level,and the systematic planning includes functional division,cultural topic,the node system,slow system,landscape system and facility system from the waterfront space level,and the functional sections will be designed in detail respectively from the site design level.In conclusion,landscape planning ideas of this study of improving ecological environment of old city waterfront space and landscape function,creating public leisure places,continuing city regional culture are tried to explore based on the ecological concept,in order to show the good image of the city and promote its scientific and orderly development.
