Waterfront is an important part of city public open space,It not only provides a leisure placefor the local residents,but also one of the important plaque composition of the city ecosystem.With the quality of life of city residents continue to improve,the waterfront leisure activities havebecome increasingly popular,waterfront leisure space has become the focus of the city landscapeconstruction.Demand for waterfront from single to diversification.But the study on multifunctionalwaterfront leisure space at present is relatively scarce,Therefore,based on ‘the multiple factors ofwaterfront leisure space’landscapehas certain innovation and exploration.This paper firstly introduces the related concept of city waterfront,waterfront leisurespace,the function,characteristics of the waterfront leisure space and elements are described,hascarried on the analysis to the domestic and foreign research status of the waterfront,Andsummarizes the present waterfront exists on the ecological environment of neglect,poorhydrophilicity,regional characteristics is not strong, both sides of the river narrow space,trafficdisorder and poor management and other issues. Followed by the waterfront leisure space in theregional factor, ecological factor, hydrophilic factor are discussed, and put forward three factorscombined, applied to the landscape design of waterfront leisure space. Specific include: in theprocess of design and protection of water, pay attention to ecological revetment construction andhydrophilic design of waterside space; in the process of plant configuration, stability by speciesdiversity, plant community to strengthen ecological waterfront, and focus on the use of native treespecies, to enhance regional characteristics; Network design process in the leisure space, payattention to the road accessibility and accessibility, traffic demand and maximum satisfaction ofcitizens, realize the human and the natural harmony. At the same time, the paving materials andcolor selection of the road, with emphasis on domestic materials use and city regionalcharacteristics; In the waterfront facilities design process, pay attention to the facilities material,form and color and their comprehensive of the ecological, hydrophilic and regional culturecommunion.Finally, taking Xiaoqing River landscape transformation of Muling City of Heilongjiangprovince as an example, the preceding research applied to the landscape transformation of theXiaoqing River, will be regional, hydrophilic, the ecology of the three factors together, to thelandscape construction of the Xiaoqing River waterfront leisure space, in order to realize theorganic combination of theoretical research and case design.Through the study of this paper, refines the landscape design method of some city waterfrontrecreational space. From the point of view of the harmony between man and nature view, providevaluable theoretical guidance and practical reference to create recreational space of city waterfrontlandscape hydrophilic, ecology, regional.
