The gantry crane is an important transportation equipment for railway freight yard.With the need of production,it's structure is more and more tall and gentle,fluctuating wind ripple on its vibration effect can not be ignored."Design rules for cranes" GB/T3811-2008 will be wind load as an important basis for structural stability analysis and the motor power calculation selection,but only handles as a static load and ignores the vibration fluctuation characteristics of wind on structure.In order to ensure the wind resistance safety of the gantry crane,it is necessary to study the wind load comprehensively.Based on a 40.5 t gantry crane as an example,this paper uses the structural finite element analysis method,computational fluid dynamics theory and linear filtering method of AR model,analyzing structure finite element statics,dynamic modal,fluid-solid interaction dynamic characteristics and fluctuating wind characteristics.The main contents are as follows:1.Static computation and dynamic modal analysis of gantry crane.Using finite element ANSYS software to create the finite element model of 40.5 t gantry crane,according to the"Design rules for cranes" check static strength and rigidity of structure,and analyzing dynamic modal to get the structure frequency and vibration mode and understand its vibration characteristics.2.The fluid-solid interaction model's and ANSYS model's similar principles model fitting of gantry crane.The fluid-solid interaction analysis of Gantry crane must make the models satisfy the similar principle,so need to fit the fluid-solid interaction model and ANSYS model.Using Solidworks software to establish the simplified model of the gantry crane,and fitting it with ANSYS model to meet the requirements of the similarity theory of fluid-solid interaction analysis,including Poisson's ratio fitting,mass fitting,modal frequency and vibration mode fitting.3.The different wind angles' fluid-solid interaction analysis of gantry crane.Based on the computational fluid dynamics theory(CFD),using FLUENT software to analyze different wind angles' fluid-solid interaction by the SST turbulence model.And obtaining stress contours,deformation contours,wind pressure distribution contours and the velocity vector contours of different wind angles.And analyzing the regular of calculation results of different wind angles' fluid-solid interaction analysis.4.Analysis of fluctuating wind characteristics of two types working condition of gantry crane under different wind speeds.Using linear filtering method of AR model and Davenport wind spectrum to simulate fluctuating wind.Through the APDL command continuous loads on ANSYS model of gantry crane in a certain interval time.Doing the transient dynamics analysis of two types working condition under different wind speeds,obtaining the maximum stress and deformation response of each load step and comparing with the static load calculation results.The results of this study can not only provide a reference for the wind load response study of gantry crane,but also provide some theoretical guidance for the wind resistance design of gantry crane structure.
