Energy Internet is the only way for sustainable development of energy sources,highly intelligent,interaction and openness is the key support and the basic requirement for Energy Internet.Wireless Sensor Network(WSN)as perception's "nerve endings" could be used in the monitoring of transmission lines,fault location of distribution lines,automation of substation,etc.,which can realize the real-time and precise perception of grid-related state parameters.At present,the energy supply of sensor nodes is mainly battery-powered and external energy harvesting.However,due to the limitations of sensor node size and cost,the energy supply is extremely limited.So it is of great importance to use a reasonable energy-saving routing protocol to maximize the network life.The classic herarchical routing protocols has LEACH,HEED,EEUC and so on.Those protocols select periodically the cluster head to balance the energy consumption of nodes,which can avoid premature death of some nodes,and extend the network life.And in order to improve resource utilization rate,they reduce transmission data through data aggregation.However,transmission line monitoring is an important component of grid online monitoring system,and due to the distinctive characteristics of transmission line structure,WSN has the characteristics of chain topology,low data aggregation rate and so on,it needs to design a special routing protocol,so a dedicated routing protocol is very necessary.This paper introduces the development status of online monitoring technology of power grid and the wireless sensor network technology,and put forward the architecture of grid online monitoring system based on WSN,and special focus is given to the characteristics of WSN in online monitoring of transmission lines.According to the characteristics of its chain topology,WSN is divided into multiple subnetworks by increasing the sink,and the transmission distance of ordinary nodes is shortened.Due to the node close to the sink would forward large amounts of data and cause ‘hot zone' problem during inter-cluster communication.A global energy balance routing algorithm based on synchronous variable distance transmission is proposed.The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively realize the energy balance of the network and improve the energy efficiency of the network,and meet the application requirements of WSN in the online monitoring system.
