Water is the important material basis which human rely on for survival and one kind of the most important environmental elements.As the economy of our country develops rapidly,more and more high-rises sprout up,the height of water supply is higher and higher.When the water supply of municipal pipe network can not satisfy people's need,the compression system need to be settled to compress the water of municipal pipe network once again and then transfer it to the higher level users.That's how the secondary water supply facilities come into being.Secondary water supply facilities include compression equipment,sterilizing equipment,secondary water supply network,water tanks etc.There is secondary water pollution in the process of delivering,as the external contamination goes inside and the internal microorganism breed in large quantity.When the serious deteriorated water reach to its users,it's already unqualified and it could threaten people's health and safety seriously.There are many reasons for the deterioration of water quality which focuses mainly on four aspects: the material of pipe network and water tanks,the design of water tank volume,the methods of disinfection and the operations management.Through reach this thesis mainly gets the following conclusions: 1.In the choice of secondary water supply pipe material,we should choose the steel-plastic composite pipes,nodular casting-iron pipes,PE pipes and stainless steel pipes etc.which won't rust easily and have a certain degree of tensile strength and tensile strength.So that we can ensure the quality of secondary water supply during the process of delivering.2.We should choose food grade stainless steel materials to make water tanks and the storage time of drinking water in water tanks should be no more than 24 hours to mitigate the bad effect caused by long residence time.3.When it comes to secondary water disinfection,we can choose ozone disinfection and ultraviolet disinfection.Besides,we can choose chlorine dioxide disinfection to meet the requirement of continuous disinfection.4.Finally,we have to make the property right of secondary water supply facilities clear and make sure that the operations management work of secondary water supply facilities is carried out.
