Since the 21 century,our country has carried out a lot of exploitation and construction projects,such as road construction,quarrying,water projects and etc.The projects play a great role in the economic development of China,but they also lead to many bare slopes.The slopes are prone to landslides and mudslides without protection which seriously threatening people's lives and properties security.Our country attaches great importance to the study and control of bare slopes,and has made certain effect.Compared with the traditional engineering protection,the three dimensional(3D)Geomat protection has many advantages in durability,convenience of construction,preserving ecosystem and beautifying environment.In recent years,the 3D Geomat protection slope has been widely used in construction for its economy,convenience,and green environmental protection.So,it is necessary and urgent to study the slope protection with 3D Geomat.Based on strength reduction method,this paper establishes the whole stability calculation model of 3D Geomat protection slope in rainfall by ABAQUS.Then,analyze the whole stability of slope in different rainfall intensity including 60mm/h,90mm/h and 120mm/h and different slope angle including 45°,55°and 60°.And some parameters including safety factor,circular slip surface,and plastic accumulative deformation of 3D Geomat protection slope and bare slope are obtained.Then,the conclusion that the 3D Geomat can obviously improve the whole stability of slope is reached,by analyzing the relationship between safety factor and plastic accumulative deformation and whole stability of slope.In this paper,a laboratory simulation test is carried out to study the failure pattern of 3D Geomat protection slope and bare slope in different rainfall intensity and slope angle by artificial simulation of rainfall device.Firstly,the erosion amount and sediment concentration are calculated and the failure pattern of slope is predicted in light or moderate rain.And then,analyze the relationship between failure mode and rainfall intensity and slope angle,the relationship between failure volume and slope angle and the relationship between slip surface curve and rainfall intensity.Finally,the failure pattern of 3D Geomat protection slope and bare slope is contrasted,and the result also shows that the 3D Geomat plays a great role in slope protection.This paper carries on comparative analysis of the result of finite element simulation analysis and simulation laboratory test,and combines conclusions of numerical simulation and laboratory test,which provides the theoretical foundation for actual projects.
