| The magnitude and distribution of earth pressure behind the retaining wall is closely related to the interaction between soil and retaining wall, the displacement pattern and magnitude has a great influence to the magnitude and distribution of earth pressure, the existing earth pressure calculation of anchored retaining wall can only adopts the Rankine’s earth pressure theory or Coulomb’s earth pressure theory which was used for limit state, however, because of the lateral restraint effect of prestress anchor, the lateral deformation and displacement of anchored retaining wall is restricted, the computational condition is far from the limit state. So this article adopts the method of model test, combined with numerical calculation method, put forward the earth pressure calculation method of anchored retaining wall under non-limit displacement pattern. The main conclusions are as follows:1.The cantilever retaining wall under overburden is in outward T displacement pattern, the lateral earth pressure behind is in parabolic distribution whose peak is in the middle of the wall and the earth pressure is 1.5 times the static earth pressure;Under the action of lateral displacement, the cantilever retaining wall is in RBT displacement pattern, the lateral earth pressure behind is in nonlinear distribution,in line with the earth pressure distribution of rigid retaining wall, the Lu Kunlin calculation method is recommended for the calculation of earth pressure.2.The non-prestressed anchored retaining wall under overburden is in outward T displacement pattern, the lateral earth pressure behind is in parabolic distribution whose peak in the anchor position and the earth pressure is 0.8 times the static earth pressure;Under the action of active lateral displacement, the non-prestressed anchored retaining is in outward RB displacement pattern, the lateral earth pressure behind is in nonlinear distribution, the anchor can significantly limit the lateral displacement, the Lu Kunlin calculation method is also recommended for the calculation of earth pressure.3.The prestressed anchored retaining wall under prestress is in outward T displacement pattern, the lateral earth pressure behind is in a more obvious parabolic distribution whose peak in the anchor position and the earth pressure has a linear relation with the prestress, the best prestress is the prestress when the wall return the position before filling, the fitting formula is recommended for the calculation of earth pressure:P =(-16.702h2 + 12.836h + 0.4201)p+ K0γz.The optimal layout position of anchor is the center of the wall, the peak and distribution range is obvious magnify under overburden and prestress.4.With the increase of the horizontal distance from the center of the wall, lateral earth pressure of the anchored retaining wall decrease gradually, the transverse stress arch phenomenon is obvious and its scope is about 1/3 of the wall width, because of the anchor role, the soil arch effect around the is more obvious and the earth pressure decrease largest. |
