In the 21st century,the process of urbanization is accelerating in China.The contradiction between the increase of urban population and the limited land use area is becoming more and more serious.The development and utilization of underground space is one of the effective methods to solve this contradiction.As one of the main ways to develop underground space,foundation pit engineering is becoming more and more widely used.Nowadays,due to the need of engineering construction,the excavation scale of excavation project is enlarging constantly,and the surrounding construction environment is becoming more and more complicated.The requirement of deformation control of foundation pit engineering is more and more high,which makes the foundation pit project from strength control to deformation control.Due to the com-plexity of geotechnical engineering,the support structure and the selection of soil parameters are increasingly conservative,making the function of support structure can not be fully utilized,and increased the cost of the project.How to make foundation pit engineering deformation control more effective,more economical construction cost and simpler construction process has become a new subject for engineering engineers to ensure the safety of foundation pit engineer-ing.In this paper,the deep foundation pit of the Guangzhou ShiBi subway station is studied,and using ABAQUS finite element software,part of the foundation pit engineering excavation ex-cavation process were analyzed.Some useful conclusions are drawn.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Using finite element analysis software ABAQUS,typical excavation section of Shibi station in Guangzhou subway station was selected to calculate by three-dimensional finite ele-ment.By comparing the lateral deformation of the diaphragm wall with the measured results,it is reasonable and feasible to use the finite element software to analyze and calculate the three-dimensional model of the deep foundation pit engineering;(2)According to the results of finite element analysis,the factors that may affect the lateral deformation of the diaphragm wall,such as the soil properties,the vertical and horizontal spacing of the internal support,the excavation method of the foundation pit,the excavation width of the foundation pit and the overload situation around the foundation pit are analyzed,and some useful conclusions are obtained,can accumulate experience for future similar projects.
