Deep foundation excavation engineering is a comprehensive and complicatedsubject.The the improvement and optimizing of its theory and engineering directlypropel the development of urban construction.Due to the limitation of the surroundingenvironment,the deformation of architectures and pipe network facilities caused by theexcavation must be controlled.Current excavation design has gradually shifted from strength control to deformation control.How to effectively control deformation of foundation pit and to make foundation pit engineering safe and stable become more and more important.In this text,the development and application status of deep foundation pitengineering was introduced and the design theory of deep foundation pit wassummarized.The finite element method,used in the numerical simulation,wasemphatically introduced,and the three dimensional numerical model was constructed interm of deep foundation pit engineering examples.The whole process of excavation andsupporting technology was step by step simulated by the finite element softwareMIDAS/GTS.The displacement cloudscape of foundation pit was obtained bycalculating,and the deformation control problem of the wall hold palisade structure wasresearched.Furthermore,the change laws of foundation pit deformation and pit soilmass displacement in the deep foundation pit excavation process were analysed,fromwhich it is obtained that the limit of the maximum horizontal displacement of diaphragm wall and soil hole.It is pointed out that the deep foundation pit deformationhas the steric effect and the key position of deformation was found out.This research aimed to the deformation factors which have effect on supportsretaining wall structural distortion.The computation models of different continuous wallstiffness,brace stiffness and entering ground depth in underground continuous wallwere established.The graph of deep foundation pit deformation in different parametersof wall hold palisade structure was obtained,and thus the impact of deformation offoundation pit in various parametric variables was analysed for the sake of safety andeconomy of wall hold palisade structure design and providing information for thesimilar supporting structure design of deep foundation pit engineering in future.
