Railway plays an important role in the economic and social development of our country,as the main artery of the national economy, the important infrastructure of the state and the mass transportation. The railway in desert area of China is threatened by wind-sand disaster in different degree. The wind sand disaster in the local railway area has seriously affected the safe operation of the railway. Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to carry out the basic research on wind erosion in the wind-blown sand area.In this paper, the characteristics of wind erosion of K740+800?K747+000 mileage are studied on the basis of Ejina-Hami railway.Based on field observation and FLUENT software, the characteristics of wind erosion are analyzed. The main research results are as follows:(1)The slope of the wind profile of different measuring points decreases with the increase of wind speed. The slope of the wind speed profile at different wind speeds is minimized at the leeward side of the embankment. In addition, the degree of linear fitting of the wind speed profile at the leeward side slope is the worst in each measurement point.(2)Dune has little effect on wind speed. The increase and decrease of wind speed in dune area is smaller than that in embankment area. The higher the wind speed, the faster the wind speed between the embankment and dune.(3)On the right side of embankment toe size greater than 0.35mm from small to large sand mileage mileage direction(from east to West)increased from small to large 0.15-0.25mm sand mileage mileage direction was significantly reduced.Right foot sand embankment is more serious than the left foot. The sand dune is the demarcation point, and the east side of the embankment is more serious than the West side.(4)The characteristic value of wind blown sand flow structure increases with the increase of wind speed.(5)Dune is the main sand source in the experimental area. The amount of sediment transport on the windward side is very small, and the sediment discharge at the top of the dune is very large. The sediment load on the leeward side of the dune is several hundred to several thousand times as much as the amount of sediment on the windward side.
