Expressway is the city's highest level of the road to meet the large capacity and long-distance travel demand,but the early planning and inefficient management methods make the expressway difficult to play its fast and efficient role.Ramp control is an effective way to ensure the operation of the expressway system.Controlling the size of the incoming and outgoing traffic can ensure that the main line is not greatly affected.This method of transferring traffic pressure tends to cause congestion at the junctions,which in turn can aggravate the road congestion.This paper takes into account the differences in the traffic status between the expressway and the intersecting intersections,and maximizes the overall operational efficiency through the coordinated control of the expressway and the associated intersections.Firstly,the basic traffic characteristics of expressway and associated intersections are analyzed,and the influencing factors of the coordinated control of expressway entrances and exits and associated intersections are put forward.The strategy of coordinated control of expressway ramp system is discussed.Secondly,this paper analyzes a large number of fast road ramp control theory at home and abroad,and establishes the ramp and the associated intersection control model with the main line residual capacity and the ramp entry-influencing factor based on the idea of hierarchical control.Then,the paper analyzes the coordination mechanism of the intersection and completes the construction of the coordination control mechanism of the intersection,and takes the standard four-phase intersection as an example to analyze.Finally,paper collects and processes traffic data of the Sijiqing Bridge of the West Fourth Ring Road in Beijing,builds and calibrates a VISSIM simulation model.The simulation results show that the method established in this paper can handle the queuing phenomenon and reduce the congestion and queuing time of the intersection.
