Terminal sensing munitions which is a new concept of smart ammunitionput forward in order to improve their ability to mutilate armored targets.The Terminal sensing munitions has a unique advantage of target detection and recognition of passive millimeter wave imaging detection technology It can work in harsh battlefield environment,all-weather work throughout the day.But the current passive millimeter wave imaging system has low sensitivity and resolution of problems.Hardware improvement is difficult,so the late of passive millimeter wave imaging image processing research is particularly important.This paper summarized based on the susceptibility of ammunition at the end of the general theory and the principle of millimeter wave imaging.Analyze the passive imaging of light temperature got radiation characteristic differences between different objects;Understand the working principle of millimeter wave radiometer play and antenna temperature of ground water and armor target modeling and simulation,and compare their differences,to achieve better on target recognition;Of millimeter wave image and then to dry filter processing,an improved wiener filtering method is proposed,and effectively suppress the ringing effect,basic experimental purposes.Finally study of millimeter wave image segmentation to extract,apply Sobel,Roberts,Prewitt,Canny operator for edge detection and analysis them in millimeter wave image processing effect,and then using the method of twin peaks,maximum between-cluster extract binary image,and put forward a kind of iterative threshold extraction algorithm to get along well effect of binary image,Treated with gradient edge detection algorithm,threshold segmentation method combined with region growing segmentation to produce an improved waters,extraction of single pixel,closed and continuous millimeter wave image contour,characteristics of armored target recognition.
