| Nowadays,gear drives were widely used in mechanical driving devices with their high efficiency,precision,stability,diversified modes and other characteristics.And they could meet the complicated requirements of production process.With technological advancements and the increasing production demand,gear transmission was getting more precise,more complex,longer life direction.Therefore,the development trend of gear was larger,more complex,and more stringent precision requirements.And it attracted much attention in the worldwide field of industry.But under the actual production conditions,only local failure of one gear would result in the downtime of the equipment and even the whole production line.This often caused irreversible damage to production,so the prevention and repair of the gear failure was always a prior problem researched by the scholars at home and abroad.But the traditional methods of repairing had great application limitations and disadvantages,such as inefficiency and low precision.Some methods could only temporarily maintain production instead of repairing the failure from the essence.However,based on the newly proposed concept of remanufacturing,how quickly and accurately to repair failure parts has become a hot research topic.Based on the basic theory of reverse engineering and NURBS surface,this paper has taken the involute spur gear as an example to research the restoration technology.In the study of mathematical expressions of spur gear and the theory of processing,combined with the characteristics of reverse engineering surface data acquisition method,this paper proposed a method of reversing gear parameters by measuring the feature points.Besides,this paper came up with the theoretical calculation of feature points selection and processing parameters solution.And the correctness of this method was systematically verified by the CMM experiments on a failure spur gear.An optimal measurement method for gear fracture section and the defect site was proposed based on the study of surface reconstruction methods.The focus lied in the application of NURBS theory in the fracture section reconstruction,and this way was successfully verified by experiments. |
