As a new type of information access carrier,unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)plays an increasingly important role in all kind of industries because of its high flexibility,easy operation,low cost,and low requirement regarding to the activity environment.As the fixed wing UAV takes a long time in a single operation with large area and also be efficient in collecting data,it is suitable to be used for collecting agricultural information.Fully detection before take-off is a must step before the activity operation of the fixed wing UAV.Against the existing weakness of the current fixed wing UAV,like high human cost with certain risk and low degree of automation,this paper tried to design and develop a set of assist device for the detection.The assist device helped to achieve automatic conversion and parameter acquisition,lower human cost and improvement of efficiency and safety.The components of this paper were as follows:(1)Overall design of the assist detection device.Based on the analysis of the functional requirements of the detection before take-off and the shape structure characteristics,this paper designed the specific implementation plan with the purpose of processing testing of magnetic compass,attitude and power parameters.The overall design of the assist detection device included rack,rotary drive mechanism,controller,pressure acquisition device,DC power supply and wireless control system.(2)Ontology Mechanical Structure Design.Referring to the common fixed-wing UAV's parameters,the mechanical structure of the detection device and the main rotating mechanism were designed and checked.There wasn't any interference phenomenon when using ProE software to detect the components of the three parts of the design and virtual machine assembly.And it met the strength requirement when the main force components were tested and analyzed.The device could be used for fixed-wing UAVs of 0~15 kg weight and 0~500 mm wing fixed spacing.(3)Control system design.Took the MSP430F149 as the microprocessor,stepper motor as the main agency to achieve the UAV 360° rolling in the horizontal face and20° rolling in the vertical face,and the pressure sensor as the data collector to achievethe UAV's power in the range of 0~100 N.Zigbee wireless transmission module was chosen to achieve communication with the host computer.Both hardware and software of each module were designed,so that helped to achieve remote control and test of the assist detection device.(4)Test and evaluation of the detection device.The assembly of the detection device was completed and each control module was carried out independent test to make sure the normal operation.The attitude conversion error of the detection device was less than 5%,and the host computer and the controller could stably control the UAV attitude conversion at 100 m distance.Through the no-load test,the existing problems were corrected and optimized.The repeated tests helped to improve the accuracy and reasonability of device.In the UAV test,the results showed that the accuracy of the attitude conversion angle of the detection device was much than 91%,the data could be obtained with stable performance,the performance indicators reached the following formula.The detection device could be used to receive the control signal of the host computer.All the performance indicators achieved the design requirement.
