In the process of machining small diameter hole of the titanium / CFRP,the chip space is small,the heat dissipation condition is poor,and the length diameter ratio of the tool is larger.Therefore,it is necessary to study the cutting tools and the machining process of the small diameter of the stacks,a special cutting tool is designed,which is based on the small diameter helical milling of the stacks:Based on the principle of helical milling cutter,the three-dimensional parametric model of helical milling cutter is established by using CREO software and optimized by ABAQUS finite element software.Combined with the machining characteristics of the stacks,the optimum cutting tool geometry structure,the suitable tool material and coating material are determined.To improve the cutting efficiency,use orthogonal test method to reduce the cutting force,optimize the process parameters of the small diameter helical milling cutter,and then analyze the cutting performance of the cutting force,machining quality and machining accuracy.Finally,by studying the deformation law of the cutting force and the coupling relationship between cutting force and the deformation,a flexible forecasting model of cutting force is established.The error compensation model is established by using the mirror image symmetry principle.The experimental results show that the error compensation model can effectively improve the accuracy of the system.In this paper,the development of the small diameter helical milling cutter,cutting parameters optimization and error compensation of the aperture is studied,which provides technical support and theoretical reference for the machining small diameter holes in aircraft assembly process.
