| Based on the connotation of lean production and its main technical support,this paper gives an in-depth research on how to apply this lean production system to the corporation specialized in multi-item and small batch production.By analyzing lean production and multi-item and small batch production in home and aboard,the lean production system can be upgraded from the aspects of both shortening the lead time before production and improving the quality control,so that it can fully meet the needs of multi-item and small batch production.As the most influential management model nowadays,lean production has been applied by many companies worldwide.By identifying the value in the production process,lean production can help cut costs and improve production efficiency through eliminating waste,reducing inventory and shortening cycle times to the utmost so products with top quality can be achieved.Confronted with the complicated demands of multi-item and small batch production,lean production system reflects some of its own limitation,which,through a detailed analysis of its connotation,can be solved by the technical tools exactly appropriate to multi-item and small batch production.By analyzing the similarity of component processing,this paper re-integrates the equipment layout in the plants through group technology,improves the mode of production from the aspects of both job shop processing sequence and JIT and puts forward a more appropriate mode of Kanban management,so that the lead production time can be fairly shortened.Cause-and-effect diagrams are then applied to find out the deficiencies in quality control so that the quality of new processed components can be improved by better system and the performance of both operators and equipments also can be assessed by the theory of process capability control.As a result,the comprehensive competitiveness of the corporation's products can be significantly increased with lower costs and higher quality at the same time. |
