The activities, which occur during the construction period of a bridge project, have close relationships with economic,technology,organization and management, and the relationships determine the project should face many uncertain factors during construction period. However, the uncertain factors would be identified and active processed to avoid loss which possibly occurs. This paper regards construction risks in large bridge project as study object. The assertion is developed as follow:(1)Study of the risk identification during large bridge construction period. Firstly the basic principle and development of risk identification are expatiated; In view of the risk factors on bridge construction are different level and have complex relationships with each other, and considering the bridge construction accident statistics are lack and integrated risk database are uncreated, then Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) is proposed to solve the problems in bridge construction risk identification, which is a qualitative and quantitative method and proved to be an ideal of risk identification method.(2)Research on risk grate evaluation criterion during large bridge construction period. Building risk grate has significant importance in risk identification, thus the risk grate evaluation criterion for enterprise,society and environment are given based on related manuals and regulations and numerous studies, so as to provide support for identifying the risk during bridge construction period and guidance for risk grate evaluation criterion in future.(3)Study on indetermination in process of risk analysis. Some Problems existing in application of present risk analysis theory on bridge engineering are were pointed out, and then uncertainties are summarized, which happen on the indetermination in process of risk analysis based on risk analysis theory. Therefore, to solve these problems, the methods for eliminating or reducing uncertainties in process of risk analysis are given.(4)Research on countermeasures of the risk. With the multi-dimension of risk factors, the AHP is proposed to solve priority in countermeasures of the risk.
