Currently,the research on the steering system is relatively small.The steering characteristics of the wheel loader is more complicated than that the straight driving characteristics.It is a greater impact on the lifetime and steering characteristics of the loader that a larger slip is happened between the tires and the ground when the process of steering.Articulated loader as a serious energy consumption of engineering vehicles,which the steering hydraulic system of energy loss is larger,so how to reduce energy consumption to improve the steering efficiency has become the focus of wheel loader research.Taking the 50 type loader as the research object,the dynamics of the articulated loader and the steering characteristics of the hydraulic system are analyzed in this paper.The main content is as follows:Firstly,the research background and significance of the wheel loader are introduced in this paper.Then the paper lists the research status of steering dynamics and steering hydraulic system at home and abroad.This paper introduces the structural characteristics and the motion principle of the articulated steering system of the wheel loader,analyzes the kinematic and dynamic model of the steering condition on the ground,calculates the steering hydraulic cylinder pressure,and lays the theoretical foundation for the simulation analysis.Secondly,according to the size parameters and constraints of the 50 loader,the virtual prototype model of the loader are established.The dynamic analysis of the steering characteristics under the no-load and full load conditions is carried out.From the analysis,this paper concludes the stress analysis on the steering process of each tire,and respectively discusses the influence of steering angle,running speed and steering speed on the mechanical properties of steering.Thirdly,based on the analysis of the principle of the priority valve and the diverter in the steering hydraulic system,the steering hydraulic system model is established.The mechanical and hydraulic co-simulation analysis is carried out,aiming to study the influence of the steering wheel speed and the external load on the steering characteristics.The pressure and flow characteristics of the system are analyzed,and the energy consumption and steering efficiency are analyzed.The simulation results are compared with the experimental results,and the correctness and rationality of the simulation model are verified.It is proposed to improve the steering efficiency and reduce the energy consumption by analyzing the simulation and energy consumption of the modified steering hydraulic system by replacing the pump with the double pump instead of the quantitative pump.Finally,this paper introduces the experimental principle and procedures,and realizes the real-time measurement of the working state of the typical working condition.The dynamic characteristics of the steering pump and the steering cylinder pressure when the steering hydraulic system is working are obtained,the experimental results are analyzed and the differences between the experimental data and the simulated values are compared.
