Bearing box is to ensure that the pump and other equipment to run the key components of stable operation.The traditional bearing box sealing method is mainly for the skeleton lip seal and labyrinth seal,etc.,and these oil seals are often unreliable seal,short life,damage to the shaft and consumption of motor power and other defects.This paper is based on the premise of the original structure of the bearing box,drawing on the basic principle of mechanical seal,the use of magnetic force as a compensation force to design and develop a suitable bearing box application of magnetic oil seal to solve the bearing box oil seal problem.The paper mainly carried out the following work:In this paper,through the analysis and calculation of the bearing box structure,the structure of the magnetic oil seal of the bearing box is optimized.Through the calculation of the magnetic force and the selection of the magnetic oil seal material,the dynamic and static ring material is determined,considering the sealing performance and the application transformation,Respectively,to design two kinds of magnetic oil seal form,that is,non-integrated magnetic oil seal and integrated magnetic oil seal.The finite element simulation analysis of the two kinds of magnetic oil seal structures was carried out.Using the simplified magnetic oil seal model,the magnetic force is equivalent to provide the compression force,the effect of the two kinds of magnetic oil seal is analyzed,and the relevant parameters which affect the sealing performance are studied.The results show that the two kinds of magnetic oil seal system can meet the sealing performance requirements,O-ring compression rate of 5%,the system has a good sealing effect.The experimental results show that the non-integrated magnetic oil seal is in good contact with the end of the magnetic oil seal,and the leakage rate is only 1mL/h,which is much smaller than the 5mL/H;and integrated magnetic oil seal in the leakage is higher than the national standard requirements.And further improved after the magnetic oil seal,whether it is leakage,wear or friction heat and other test results,have reached the expected results and meet the acceptance criteria.Through the application of non-integrated and integrated magnetic oil seal in the refining plant site,it has also achieved satisfactory results,indicating that the magnetic oil seal can be applied to the bearing box instead of the traditional oil seal to realize the long period without leakage operation of the moving equipment.
