Suspension system is a very important part of tracked vehicle,which not only plays an important role of connecting the car and wheel,but also has important significance to improve the ride comfort and handling of the vehicle.For now,passive suspension is used most widely as the suspension system.Passive suspension is now using the mainstream of the suspension,whose defect is very obvious.The parameters of the semi-active suspension and active suspension can be as different and change of working condition of vehicle,which can make the vehicle has better ride comfort and hangdling.The cost of semi-active suspension is much more cheaper than that of active suspension,and semiactive suspension is very promising.The variable damping shock abdsorber and the control algorithm of semi-active suspension system are variable damping semi-active suspension of the two key technologies.This paper carried out a variable damping shock and the research of control methods of the semi-suspension,based on a tracked vehicle as the research object.First,The paper expounds the massive structure,basic concept and operating principle of passive suspension,semi-active suspension and active suspension.Semiactive suspension control method is and the control algorithm of semi-active suspension system,then tracked vehicle dynamic model are introduced.Second,according to the suspension system performance evaluation index,set up passive and semi-active car suspension dynamics equation of state.Then white noise simulation road excitation model is established.Third,the principle of continuous variable damper based on solenoid valve are analysed.The mathematical mode of the compression sttoke and rebound stroke are established,and a dampaing characteristics simulation is carried out.The dynamic of the step motor is analyzed.Last,Fuzzy control is chose as the vehicle semi-active suspension control scheme,then fuzzy controller system is designed.Passive and semi-active suspension are simulated by us in Simulink in MATLAB.We can conclude that performance of semi active suspension is much more better than that of passive suspension in four main indexes such as car body vertical acceleration,pitch acceleration,suspension dynamic immunity and tire compress then variable damping semi-active which takese into account the dynamic characteristic of the motor suspension are analyzed in the simulation.
