With the development of society and the improvement of living standards,people have greater requirement on automobiles' riding comfort and traveling safety.As a core part of the automobiles,the suspensions have great influence on performance of automobiles.At present,suspensions can be classified into passive suspension,semi-active suspension and active suspension.The semi-active suspensions with magnetorheological damper have become one of the researching hotspots in the automobile field because of rapid response and low energy.However,the magnetorheological dampers(MRD)are not widely used for fail safe,magnetorheological fluid's settlement and other issues.In order to effectively solve the problems of work,significantly improve performance of damper and effectively improve the dynamic performance of automobile suspensions,a magnetorheological damper with permanent magnets has been designed and the suspension has been studied in this paper.The detailed content of this paper is showed as follows:(1)The research background,research significance and present developing condition of automobile suspension base on MRD at home and abroad were studied.The inadequacy of present MRDs research has been analyzed and introduced in this section.On this basis,the main research content of this paper were presented.In allusion to the shortage of current MRDs,a new structure scheme of magnetorheological damper embedded permanent magnets(MRDEPM)was presented.And the magnetic field model of the damping passage was established by adopting the magnetic field calculation of magnetic coil and permanent magnet.On this basis,the mechanical models of damper was constructed by Bingham model.(2)According to the structure scheme and the performance of MRDEPM,The analysis of working principle of damper and working modes of magnetic field were studied.The magnetic circuit of MRDEPM was designed base on the principle of the magnetic circuit designing.The MRDEPM was manufactured on the basis of designing theories of MRD.(3)2 DOF,4 DOF and 7 DOF vehicle vibration mathematical models were established based on the principle of vehicle system dynamics.(4)A new equation of inertia weight was presented base on the strategy of concave function.And a new equation of learning factor was proposed by an adaptive adjustment strategy.On this basis,the basic particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm was improved.According to suspension's performance indicators and the optimal controller's characteristics,a new PSO-optimal control algorithm was designed.And the PSO-optimal control algorithm was applied to simulation of suspension.(5)Test system of quarter suspension was built based on the structural character of vehicle suspension.The tests of MRDEPM's aerodynamics and suspension's control algorithm were completed in this test platform.
