Permanent magnet governor has to be a new research focus of motor speed control device,after the hydraulic coupling governor and variable-frequency governor,for its remarkable advantages such as simple construction,on-mechanical connection,low demands on neutral,soft-start realizable and environment adaptability and so on.But the rise of temperature to be an inevitable problem in the process of operation because of the special working principle.And the magnetic of the permanent magnet decreased with temperature increased,even the irreversible demagnetization may occur when the temperature higher than the Curie temperature of a permanent magnet.An effective cooling measure must be taken to maintain the use of the permanent magnet governor and prolong its service life.Each of the existing cooling systems has different defects.The spray cooling has been called the most promising cooling way.So this paper makes the permanent magnet governor temperature field cool down by the spray cooling.In this article,through Fluent numerical simulation study of permanent magnet governor atomization cooling technology.Permanent magnet governor a numerical simulation of the single nozzle atomization cooling model Jane nozzle was studied in the model from the distance of the permanent magnet,the nozzle inlet pressure,the quality of the water flow rate,nozzle inner thickness of liquid film on a single nozzle atomization characteristic,the influence of related parameters to determine the nozzle setting,and apply to the permanent magnet speed of nozzle atomization cooling model.Due to large permanent magnet structure of speed governor,a single nozzle of cooling effect to the cooling effect of high power permanent magnet governor is very limited.Model is proposed in this paper,the permanent magnet governor more than three nozzle set plan: such as diameter of the ring to the uniform distribution,the radial distribution,and variable diameter of the ring to the uniform distribution.Variable diameter of the ring to the uniform distribution on the solution set made up for the inadequacy of being limited by the structure size of the two.Found by simulation calculation due to the radial distribution from time to tome a lot of spray droplets formed in the permanent magnet inside the annular space,underthe effect of rotating airflow,the effect of droplet by centrifugal force close to the permanent magnet in the body wall motion,be helpful for cooling,so the most significant cooling effect;Rather than evenly distributed to consider such as diameter of spraying area is more,but have individual nozzle spray directly in the process of spray nozzle set in areas outside the annular space,under the effect of centrifugal force,the droplets close to the rotation of the permanent magnet outer shell,few contribution to cooling effect;Such as diameter of the ring to the part of the uniform distribution of droplet spray to the permanent magnets inside the annular space,on the part of the spray directly to the permanent magnets,part of this into the annular space outside the area,so the cooling effect between the first two schemes.Comprehensive analysis,when the nozzle is set,should try to make the spraying area is located in the form within the annular space of permanent magnets,or permanent magnet.In this paper,the research results of permanent magnet governor cooling provides a new possible,has the very vital significance.
