Flue gas desulfurization circulating pump is the key and core equipment in the flue gas desulfurization system of thermal power plant.With the introduction,digestion and absorption of foreign desulfurization technology,achieving independent research and development of flue gas desulphurization circulating pump requirements becomes more urgent.The desulphurization system not only needs to be good-constructed,reliable,easy-assembled,efficient and proper-sealed,but also be abrasion resistance,corrosion resistance.Therefore the development is more difficult.It is of great significance to reduce the foreign exchange consumption of imported equipment and improve the level of independent research and development and manufacture.This article introduces the design and produce of the flue gas desulphurization system.On the basis of the comprehensive analysis of the influence of the flue gas desulfurization process principle and the medium on the pump equipment,the performance and operation of the equipment,the advanced hydraulic model of Japan's Mazda pump is analysed.The hydraulic performance of desulphurization systems is also analyzed through velocity-coefficient method and similar-design method.The anti-pressure ability and wall thickness are calculated by three-dimensional software,in order to guarantee the rationality of our design.With the experiment of diameter and variable speed to the cutting impeller,the flow and lift pattern have been gained to meet customer demand for a variety of operating conditions.This article also summarizes how pump gap influence the hydraulic performance,and gives the proper gap range.The feasibility of using the same volute for different impellers is studied.We optimize the bearing,stripping ring,bearing seal,mechanical seal and other crucial modular construction,enhancing the reliability of equipment.Besides,we research how the desulfurizing medium corrodes the pump,the wear and corrosion tests were carried out to determine the reasonable material composition,and we find proper material to produce the casting.Our design of desulphurization pump has been widely used in heat-engine plant within China,showing a stable running character and failure-free traits.The research methods and contents of the equipment will be helpful to promote the development of circulating pump for flue gas desulfurization system.
