The parts library can serve as a plug-in unit of SolidW orks software.Given that recently SolidWorks has been popularized,this thesis designs and develops a tridimensional parts library for a new bulk bearing on SolidWorks platforms and gains initial success.The general parts library of the new bulk bearing constitutes a comprehensive and complicated system.which utilizes parameterized technology,OLE technology and COM technology.The thesis analyzes the function of the new bulk bearing and studies the flow of constructing parametric mapping based on the application of VB language.It aims to modify the sketch and features of the new bulk bearing parts on SolidWorks platforms,thus achieving the effect of dimensional linkage without changing fundamental geometrical shapes.Currently,the preliminary success has been gained in the study.In the research and development of the general parts library of the new bulk bearing,the author is committed to making a more visualized operating environment available to software users.Only in this way can structural designers explicitly understand the sophisticated structure and each dimension of the new bulk bearing,thus making it more convenient for designers to conduct a secondary design.
