With the rapid development of the aerospace industry,various space missions require spacecraft's performance high and high.The structure of the spacecraft becomes more and more complicated.And the performance,service life development and maintenance costs of the spacecraft become a main consideration of the spacecraft design.Therefore,there's an urgent need for the on-orbit assembly technology and modular design of spacecraft at home and abroad.The interface is the combination of modules,which is the tunnel of the material,energy and information transmission between modules.There has been a lot of research on modular interface of spacecraft at home and abroad.In this paper,through the analysis and summary of the modular spacecraft interface and their design features,proposes a mechanical connection interface based on cylindrical cam.Through the building of principle,the design of structure parameters,the design and optimization of cylindrical cam curve,static and dynamic simulation analysis,developed the interface device prototype,tests and analysis are carried out.Through the analysis of the interface device's locking and unlocking process,puts forward three kinds of design scheme of curve groove,and through comparative analysis,select the optimal scheme and detailed design.The main bearing components is analyzed by ANSYS Workbench analysis software under the premise of ensuring the device size and function.The cam mechanism with a maximum speed Vm,the maximum acceleration Am and the maximum jerk value of Jm are reasonable as the optimization objective,optimize the design on the five amendments and cycloid constant velocity motion law of modified constant speed respectively.The five amendments is chose as final choice of more suitable for uniform motion as the cam curve.The dynamic simulation of the interface device is simulated by using ADAMS software.The simulation results show the locking and unlocking process of the interface,and the changes of displacement,velocity and acceleration of the device during the movement.The simulation results show that the interface device designed can realize lock and unlock process fast,the velocity and acceleration values of the follower are reasonable.The locking time of interface is 2 s,the maximum speed of locking hook is 0.016 m/s,and the maximum acceleration is 1.53 m/s2.The principle prototype of the interface device can realize locking and unlocking function very well.When the motor speed is 240 rad/min,the locking time of the device is measured as 1.8 s.The axial bearing force loading system is designed,the bearing capacity of the interface device can reach 1000 N.To compared with the first generation principle prototype,the speed of the scheme on the locking and unlocking of the impact is significantly less than the first generation principle prototype.The movement process is more stable.The interface device prototype is 1216.44 g,which meet the design requirements about quality.
