Centrifugal compressors are widely used in ships and other fields because of their advantages such as small volume,high pressure ratio and high efficiency.In recent years,China's shipbuilding strength has been rapidly improved,but the development of marine equipment is relatively backward,especially the design and manufacture of centrifugal compressor in the supercharger.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the centrifugal compressor.High-performance centrifugal compressors are usually in the form of main blades and splitter blades.Pressure ratio and efficiency are important performance indexes.In this paper,the numerical calculation of centrifugal compressor with splitter blades is carried out by means of CFD.The flow-pressure ratio and flow-efficiency curve and the flow of the internal flow field are obtained by changing the flow rate and then changing the blade tip clearance,the length of splitter blades and the circumferential position of the splitter blades to get different centrifugal compressor models.Carrying on the numerical simulation to the above model to get the corresponding flow-pressure ratio curve,flow-rate performance curve and the flow of internal field and the conclusion is that,through comparative analysis,the performance of tip clearance t=0mm is better than that of t=0.2mm,the performance of the splitter blade length 0.6L is better than that of 0.4L and the performance of 0.6C is better than that of 0.4C in the circumferential position of splitter blades.According to the above results,the influence of the tip clearance,the length of splitter blades and the circumferential position of the splitter blades on the performance of the centrifugal compressor is optimized and considering the actual situation that the tip clearance cannot be t=0mm,we calculated according to the optimization model which based on the performance index of air compressor,the improved model for tip clearance t=0.1mm,the splitter blade length 0.6L and the splitter blade circumferential position 0.6C as well as compared with the former model that find the optimized model has obvious improvement in performance which illustrating the optimization scheme is effective.
